Hardware wallet

A hardware wallet is a physical device that stores private keys and signs transactions without exposing those keys to the connected computer. The Bitcoin is recorded on the network, not inside the device.

A seed phrase can restore access if the device fails. Protect that backup as carefully as the device, and check transaction details on the device before approving.
