Custodian

A Bitcoin custodian holds or controls the private keys needed to move Bitcoin on behalf of a client. An exchange that controls withdrawals can act as a custodian.

Using a custodian creates counterparty risk: access depends on another party. BlockByte is non-custodial and never holds or has access to client keys or seed phrases.
